We passed the Blessed Jesus Statue in Manado City on a drizzly night, upon returning to the city of Bitung,
North Sulawesi. We took a stop at the curb to go down and take some photos in the low light.
The drizzle made me unable to walk far to find a different angle of shoot This statue of Jesus Bless is 50 m above the ground, with a 30-meter statue and a 20-meter-high support, and a 20-degree slope.
The Blessed Jesus Statue is the highest monument of Jesus Christ in Asia and the second highest in the world. This Blessed Jesus Statue is located on the highest hill of Citraland Manado housing, and is made with 25 tons of iron fiber and 35 tons of steel. The making of this Jesus Blessing Statue was initiated by Ir. Ciputra with a cost of about Rp. 5 billion.
