Island Temboko Lehi

Temboko Lehi Beach or also known as Lehi Beach is one of the unique beaches owned by Indonesia. This beach is located in District Siau West, Siau Tagulandang Biaro (Sitaro), North Sulawesi. The distance is about 137 km from downtown Manado.

This beach has a blue sea water and a pretty beautiful panorama around him. What makes it unique is the sea water is not cold but hot. Yup, this beach is at the foot of the active Volcano of Karengetang. So along the coastline, the sea water was hot. Even the sea water is not salty like sea water in general.

The sea water is hot enough, so you will not find fish that roam around the beach. Even if you dig the sand of the beach, you can see the steam of hot sea water is poking into the air. So you should not swim directly to the beach. If you want to feel the warm sea water Lehi Beach, you can go to a small pond that is around the beach. The pool is a bath tub that has long been used by local residents for bathing purposes. Do not worry, because the water in the pool is not too hot but warm enough.

In addition to the bathing pool, you can also enjoy the warm waters of Lehi Beach on the beach is a rocky and rocky. The location is a bit hidden. You have to walk a few meters from the sandy beach location, and treking down the boulders to find the curve of rocks. At the location of these rocks, you will feel the warm sensation of hot water steam coming out of the rocks.

This beach area is still minimal facilities, but Sitaro regency has repaired some existing facilities in this coastal area. Among them such as building and fixing places to relax for visitors, public toilets, and repair swimming baths for visitors. You can also get some lodging and eating places around Sitaro District.

Access transport
The nearest city to get to this beach location is through the city of Manado. The distance is about 137 km from downtown Manado. From downtown Manado, you can go directly to the Port of Manado by using a land vehicle.

From the Port of Manado, the journey continues by using the ship to the Port of Pehe Harbor on the island of Siau. Travel time is about four hours drive. From Port Pehe, you can continue the trip by hiring a motorcycle taxi to get to the location of Lehi Beach. It takes about 20 minutes to travel.
